This is one of those that takes several episodes to get invested… but then you’re really invested. The quality is just superb all around. You definitely to get to episode 3 to get to know the characters though.
A rank anime. Highly recommended.

86 (cour 2) – The struggle between identity, existential angst, meaninglessness with the backdrop of battles… perhaps outward and inward. My kind of show! The OP/ED is consistently good and the different approach to story-telling is gripping. I want to read the light novel series.
Shiroi Suna no Aquatope – PA works did a great job with this. This is worth a rewatch. Not only is it really touching, the quality is just really good all around. PA works really shines with their coming of age, struggles and developing personally with daily living business.
Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittari Honki Dasu (Cour 2) – Robust isekai / fantasy with drama, feelings, fights. The animation is very classy and modern feeling at the same time. I plan on reading the light novels and really want there to be more anime.
Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai! – My favorite comedy show for summer and fall 2021. The classic tropes are there with the magical girls, demon-lord, different worlds… yet the comedy is in the banal moments and awkward situations of everyday living.
Isekai Shokudou (season 2) – Isekai + food/cooking + people enjoying it. Strangely satisfying to watch. Enjoy!
B-rank (somewhere between good and okay. Worth a watch, but may not be remembered for long)
Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow life suru Koto ni shimashita – well done fantasy / action / adventure / slice of life/comedy show. It somehow effortlessly melds and deliberates the drama/action with slice of life living… and existential conflicts (always love those).
C-rank (meh it’s okay, I watched it, but I wouldn’t really recommend it)
Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusa, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru – An okay Isekai. A bit more “serious” than others.
Platinum End – ehhhh it’s okay. The story is a bit forced through the story / character / relationship development has its good moments.
D-rank (you can pass)
Shinka no Mi – An Isekai adventure/comedy that started off okay… but mehhhhhh
