The Legend of Heroes – Sen no Kiseki (Trails of Cold Steel) – Northern War – episode 6-7

Here we have the turning point.

Erebonia is moving, Osbourne, North Ambria, Lavi, Ouroboros.

The momentum initiates the expected conflicts.

I’m surprised again that they did this show. It’s impossible to know what’s going on without knowing at least what happens in Trails of Cold Steel. The world-building of this series is massive… I am so excited to take my time off in July to play Trails into Reverie.

Also, super happy my favorite Duvalie showed up! (not as happy as seeing Altina… and now if we had Towa too I would be blessed.)

I liked this show from episode of season 1. I really like how there’s subtle and drastic development and this was just a great episode.

I really enjoy the giri-giri so-close but so-far edge aspect of the turn of all of the protagonists’ interactions.

I also get to brush up on my gyaru-go. ha.

This show is going on my S rank category.

The Legend of Heroes – Sen no Kiseki (Trails of Cold Steel) – Northern War – episode 4-5

Forgot to do episode 4 last week… episode 4 did a good job of starting the integration and setting up the meeting of Lavi and Rean. We have our Alisa and Shannon cameo as well as world-building from Lavi’s view of Ymir.

But episode 5 is what we’ve all been waiting for. Lavi means Rean without realizing he’s her target. The complicated inner and outer conflicts blow in more concretely now.

I absolutely really enjoy the Rean x Altina team. It brings back memories of Trails of Cold Steel III and IV.
