Shingeki no Kyojin (The Final Season) 63v0
My anime intuition made the connection before it was revealed at the end of the episode.
This scene gave it away for me.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokkan
Wow 9 years! but excited they decided to make more.
I have to decide whether I want to wait for the hardcover release in june 2021 or read digitally now…
Eh I watched this in two mini marathons.
I think Season 1 was the best. Season 2 was just… alright and season 3 was alright. It could have been better.
They had such good chances to really develop this idea of humanity being the monsters but it was simply lightly touched upon a few times.
The Wiene x Ans scene in ep 11 was powerful… but was too short and a bit empty. Maybe it was the music. Maybe it was just short.
The whole Freya interloping part was very poorly explained.
The longer parts should have been shorter and the shorter parts longer…
I watched seasons 2 and 3 wishing it would be as good as season 1.
It would have been nice if he leveled up this season… or last season.
Shingeki no Kyojin (The Final Season) 62v0
We are inching closer towards the present…
This Reiner perspective is actually kind fascinating… and seeing the pre-Ymir scene.
You really have to have been paying attention… and/or have good memory to remember what happened here.
Such an interesting shot.
Reiner’s words at the end of this episode are vague. It would make more sense he was referring to the warrior candidates… but

Yes, I was actually watching this weekly… I needed a healthy dose of a competition anime. Plus of course this makes me want to try rock climbing.
The pace was fast but decent… the last episode was lightning fast though and slightly dissatisfying. I wish they could have made it least 1-2 episodes longer to flush out the emotional aspects a bit more.
Rank? C
Konomi is obviously the loved protagonist… the rivalry-friendship with Jun and the two sempais was a great fit for the 4-5 girls formula.
We have these lessons really applicable to life.
this makes me want to get deep into my video games…
Cool Kurusu… we don’t get to hear what she says at the end … the words before she does her catch phrase
She’s voiced my one of my favorites 田村 ゆかり, Tamura Yukari
Amane Suzuha in Steins;Gate
Nanoha in Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha
Furude Rika in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Togame in Katanagatari
and more
I realized when she went from the higher pitched tone to the heavy-darker voicing perfectly done as Rika.

Hmmmm this is definitely more like the Satoko answer arc than the question arc… I shall remain suspicious to see what happens next. I wonder if this they are trying to make a 24-26 episoder.
What makes this show great is the pure humanity of it. It gets gritty, messy, and authentic.
Frankly, Keiichi is just inspiring in this scene. Brash, crude maybe… but inspiring/

It may be my imagination… but I’m rewatching the original anime… and I think some of the new scenes are scenes from the game that were not in the original anime… except for the altered endings.
This scene with Satoko is so well done and definitely stirring… maybe I’ll try to guess how they will end this question arc this time.
Rika always gives me shivers. one of my favorite characters of anything.
Shingeki no Kyojin (The Final Season) 61v0
Of course of all of the stories he chose to expound most on Sasha’s… what fan service.
(wordpress…. so annoying to use not… I may change platforms because it is getting so anti-intuitive to use)
Shingeki no Kyojin (The Final Season) 60v0
I like how they completely shifted from the regular cast to enlarge the world and give the context for the final phase of this series. It looks like they changed studios… but I can’t easily tell changes in the animation style.
Anyway, 16 episodes to go.
